**Sean Yuan, MD, FACS**
Dr. Sean Yuan is a board-certified general surgeon with extensive training and experience in plastic, reconstructive, craniofacial, and cosmetic surgery. With more than 20 years of surgical experience, his clinical focus includes awake cosmetic surgery, liposuction, body contouring, tummy tuck surgery, breast surgery, facial aesthetic procedures, and minimally invasive treatments.
Dr. Yuan received his medical degree from Beijing Medical University, where he also completed training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He practiced plastic surgery internationally before continuing his surgical education in the United States. He completed internship training at Lankenau Hospital and Mercy Catholic Medical Center, followed by a general surgery residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center.
He completed fellowship training in transplant surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and an international craniofacial surgery fellowship in Norfolk, Virginia. This training provided advanced experience in complex facial anatomy, craniofacial reconstruction, and facial surgical techniques.
As the founder of Dr. Yuan Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Yuan is committed to natural-looking results, individualized treatment plans, meticulous surgical technique, and comprehensive long-term follow-up care. He performs selected cosmetic procedures using local anesthesia and light sedation for appropriately selected patients.
His clinical interests include liposuction, awake tummy tuck surgery, breast augmentation, breast lift surgery, eyelid surgery, facelift and neck lift surgery, and facial contouring. He emphasizes patient safety, realistic expectations, careful patient selection, and continuity of care.
Dr. Yuan is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
